Many years ago, my friend Beth and I sat watching the stars wondering what if there were two girls out there, somewhere, looking up at their planet's night skies wondering the same thing. I’ve always wondered about what might be out there so many of my stories are set on futuristic worlds and almost always include a touch of the paranormal.

Besides writing and reading romance, I enjoy traveling. Every chance I get, I head up into the the high country to chase down snow for a reminder of my childhood home in Alaska. Below is an image taken in mid-August 2006 of Lassen Peak reflecting Lake Helen, in Lassen Volcanic National Park in northern California.

I often have camera in hand. The below is the tundra near my old home in Bristol Bay, Alaska. There are a few items on my Cafepress store using Tundra Trees and another version I called Tundra Christmas.

Q: Where does the name Blysse come from?
A: Blysse is the old way of spelling of Bliss, a family name hanging on my family tree.
